OUR BEGINNINGS

The initial idea of using technology to enhance people's lives was first discussed when two Research Engineers, from the A*Star Institute alongside National University of Singapore ECE Department, came together to work on an UWB (Ultra Wideband) communications project in 2005. This was the state-of-the-art communications technology which was meant to replace WIFI communications back then.

Years later, the two Reesearch Engineers met up again. Although the UWB Technology did not pick up as expected, the world has caught up in terms of Smart Home Internet of Things (IOT) Technology. That's when the chemistry sparkled between the two Research Engineers again who were inspired to use their electrical engineering knowledge (app programming, circuit programming & chip fabrication etc.) to enhance the way people live. That was the founding of Lab Maisons. 

Today, Lab Maisons is the leading Smart Home Brand in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan & United Kingdom. We aspire to serve even more clients in other parts of the world.
